Home      About Me

I am a Fine Art graduate of Central Saint Martin's college of Art and Design. My specialism was painting, but my creativity soon evolved into my true passion - textiles. I began making oversized tapestries and my degree show comprised several huge tapestries, the largest being four metres wide.

After college I dabbled with decorative paint effects and sewing projects for interiors and
advertising, as well as continuing to develop my personal work. It was at this time that
computers started to invade our lives and I learnt QuarkXpress and PhotoShop.

After flirting with graphic design for a short time, I fell into the world of photographic retouching and worked in national newspapers including The Independent, The Guardian and Observer and The Mail on Sunday for over 12 years. I currently do some work for The Daily Express. For many years, I have also been supplying bespoke, soft furnishing items for clients of top end interior designer Bella Whiteley. I have even been commissioned by celebrities to make my name pillows and Christmas stockings!

You can see examples of what I do in the Personalised gifts, soft furnishings  and Art sections of this site.
